The focus of Jacksonville Port Ministries is multi-faceted. What began as a ministry to international seafarers in the early 1970's has expanded to include the Jacksonville International Airport, public and private shipyards, and the trucking industry that supports the Jacksonville Port Authority. We minister not only to those who arrive by ship, plane, or truck, but also to all of the employees and visitors of the facilities of the Port Authority.

We practice a holistic ministry trying to meet the needs of those we minister to regardless of whether that is physical, emotional, or spiritual. Always with one purpose in mind: to showcase the love of Jesus Christ, so that seeds will be planted to lead souls to a personal relationship with the Savior. We don't feed a hungry man just because he is hungry, for after he is fed his greatest need will still be unmet. We feed him because the love of Christ compels us, and by so doing we demonstrate that God is ready and able to meet humankind's greatest need - to be in a personal relationship with God.
